A full page government ad with the tricolour upside down

Daily when I logon to my yahoo mail account the home page has the day’s top news headlines. I just glimpse over them and head over to my inbox, but today one particular news story caught my attention as it was outright sad and funny at the same time ;)

The ad, which is for a government rural welfare scheme which was printed in Kolkata’s english and local news papers, has the colours of the Indian Flag reversed :( saffron at the bottom and green at the top wow. I dont want to frown over the poor DTP designer who might have overlooked this glaring mistake in the fury of proof-reading the name, photo and post of the politicians a thousand times.

One of the stupid advertisements I have watched.

Whenever I see this ad I just change the channel. So pathetic.

irrelevant fact: Lot of people get the same amount as their yearly salary :-P

Well I read this from a post from trak.in Indian biz blog. Sure the number of people watching the Ad is such a huge number and it is sometimes very ridiculous during cricket matches but it is important to see how many people really give a damn to these ads when they are just really interested to know the score.
