ROFL. This could be even a clever parody on the practice of displaying the contact number and asking to report if the driver is speeding ha! but considering that this is India I have full confidence on the stupidity of the people involved :D

And btw nice catch by Rajesh with his camera mobile. He concludes his post by saying

Given the driving etiquette in our very cultured metros, the day is not far when this would be a real warning, I think :)

A funny requirement in Guru dot com project listing

There are many times that I come across various project lisings in Guru.com (popular freelance website) Though I dont do much projects from Guru.com I frequently go through a lot of postings to get a feel for how clients are asking their requirements, what all they require from the freelancer and other such info. Today I saw a listing which had a funny requirement lol ;)

Programming Language:
Yes, I do require a specific programming language.

Desired Programming Language:
Gujarati,Hindi, and English.

Slowdown Culture !!! Learn to Live Life !!!

After a long gap which was very hectic filled with lots of assessments, project reviews, class hours, extra classes, appointments with the doctor, numerous trips to ritchie street, and general goofing around, finally I got something to put in my blog. I got this as a mail from Chumma Yahoo Groups. Hope this is a good read.

An interesting reflection : Slow Down Culture

It’s been 18 years since I joined Volvo, a Swedish company. Working for them has proven to be an interesting experience. Any project here takes 2 years to be finalized, even if the idea is simple and brilliant. It’s a rule.

Globalize processes have caused in us (all over the world) a general sense of searching for immediate results. Therefore, we have come to posses a need to see immediate results. This contrasts greatly with the slow movements of the Swedish. They, on the other hand, debate, debate, debate, hold x quantity of meetings and work with a slowdown scheme. At the end, this always yields better results.
