Buying a 1GB flash drive may not be something to blog about as every one and his dog probably has a flash drive these days. This post is about a small bug during calculation of shipping prices when checking out the order in eBay India. Actually I ordered it on 19th February 2008 and the seller shipped it immediately on the next day itself. But lazy bums in DTDC couriers delivered it today only even though it is an inter city shipment. So I waited to receive the item before posting.

It is very unusual of me reading some astrology blogs but a few days back in the Indiaprwire update email there was an entry by an astrology blogger (pretty unusual as well) that read “Will the world end in 2012 ?”. The blog author talks about the end of the world on December 21st 2012 as the Mayan Calendar ends on the same day. I have heard about this Mayan Calendar stuff before and also recollected reading about the same end-of-the-world theory in some other website. So just visited the astro blog and got the same set of info albeit very technical one probably taken from some other reference.

There are many times that I come across various project lisings in Guru.com (popular freelance website) Though I dont do much projects from Guru.com I frequently go through a lot of postings to get a feel for how clients are asking their requirements, what all they require from the freelancer and other such info.
